This Privacy Policy explains how uncapped.lol (https://uncapped.lol) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the site, click a listing, or pay for a ranking. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

What we collect
We keep the Service small. We collect only what we need to run the board, take payment, stop abuse, and understand traffic.
- Checkout and listing data: The X handle you submit, the asset you claim, the bid amount, and the public profile image/bio we resolve for that handle. Payment confirmation identifiers from our payment providers are stored so we can place the ranking.
- Payment data: Card details and billing identity are collected by our payment providers, not by us.
- Clicks: When you visit a listing from the board, we may record the listing and a time to aggregate click statistics on claimant profiles.
- Website Telemetry & Analytics: We collect limited usage statistics to understand website traffic and performance. Raw IP addresses are not retained in our database. A one-way, daily rotating cryptographic hash is used to estimate unique visitors. The identifier resets automatically every 24 hours. We do not use persistent tracking cookies, persistent device fingerprints, or cross-site tracking identifiers. The system is designed to minimize the amount of information collected and retained.
- Technical data: Standard transient request metadata such as user agent, referrer, and IP address may be processed by our edge host (Vercel / Cloudflare) to operate and secure the Service.
Why we use this data
Contract: To take payment, create or raise a claim, assign platform credit on outbids, and provide the Service you asked for.
Legitimate interests: To keep the board fair (rate limits, bot filtering), display public profile metadata, measure visits, debug outages, and defend legal claims.
Public listings
Rank, spend, names, images, descriptions, and destination links on the board are public. Anyone can see them, including search engines. Do not list a handle if you do not want that information shown. We fetch public metadata from the X profile you submit so visitors can recognize the listing.
Who we share data with
- Payment providers — for checkout and payment confirmation.
- Hosting, database, and edge infrastructure so the site can run.
- Identity lookup helpers (e.g., X profile and avatar services) so we can show a name and picture before and after checkout.
How long we keep it
Public ranking entries stay while the listing is on the board and may remain in backups or activity history after a takedown or takeover. Payment identifiers and amounts are kept as long as needed for accounting, fraud, and dispute handling.
Children
The Service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
